A map of the world of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
Sonic Adventure 2, Battle, is composed of many different stages. Depending on which branch of the story mode you play through (Hero side or Dark side), different stages will be available. Each character has a designated stage type and I have learned that you cannot play on any other stages no matter how many special button combinations you press.
Main Stages
There are three primary types of main stages: Parkour/Running, Gem Scavenger Hunts, and Mech Suit Explosive Destruction. This is not including boss fights, which are usually Parkour Explosive Destruction, but never scavenger hunts. There is also a fourth type of stage, Go Kart levels, of which there are only two instances: Route 101 and Route 280.

2 Player Stages
Along with the Battle release of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle came nine new stages designed for the new 2 player mode, with two being added for each primary 2 player game mode, and three being added for the 2 player Kart Race mode.

Boss Stages
Most boss fights occur in restricted parts of the main stages. A few, however, have unique stages of their own. Once I play the game again to refresh my memory, I will list those stages here.
