Sonic Adveneture 2 (Battle), or SA2(B) for short, was released in 2001 on the Dreamcast as the sequel to Sonic Adventure. Since then, many ports of SA2B have been released, including one for GameCube and one for Steam. It was during the release of the GameCube port (6 months after the initial release) that the word "Battle" was added to the title. SA2B was also released as a digital game on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2012.

Growing up, I played on the GameCube and recieved this game incredibly well. One of the best birthday gifts my brother ever got. As time went on, the disc became more and more scratched, and now it's very difficult to boot it up correctly. However, once it gets going, it runs pretty smooth, so I guess the GameCube still recieves it pretty well, as well.

Of course, this wasn't the only Sonic game I played growing up. There was also Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Mega Collection, Sonic Riders, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Battle, Sonic Advanced, and Sonic Advanced 3. Come to think of it, I'm not sure why I never played Sonic Advanced 2. Wait, does Sonic Advanced 2 even exist? o.O Regardless, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was the golden standard of the bunch. Although, I have to say that all were really fun aside from Sonic Mega Collection. I recieved Sonic Mega Collection poorly, unlike Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.
